Within the framework of Aviation engineering research (NFFP), funding is offered for projects that strengthen the competitiveness and supply capacity of the Swedish aviation industry. The initiative focuses on technology verification in demonstrator projects – a crucial phase for new technology to be able to prove functionality and industrialization potential. The projects will accelerate the development of technologies with viability in relevant application areas and contribute to a sustainable, robust and internationally integrated Swedish aviation ecosystem. In the long term, the initiative is expected to strengthen industrial growth, defense capability, exports and climate-neutral air transport. The call for proposals is aimed at actors in the aviation sector with potential to participate in national or international demonstrator programs. Both small and large companies can apply, individually or in consortium with other companies, universities, university colleges and research institutes.
